FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drill tools and can be used at rotary and/or percussion machines designed to bore brickwork, concrete, stone and similar materials. Tool has head and at least one cutting element arranged at the head free end to extend its points in feed direction above the head and radially behind said head. Cutting element incorporates at least two bits with cutting edges. Bits extend radially outward from the point and feature depth increasing at increase in radial distance from the tool lengthwise axis. Side surfaces of the bits are located in parallel planes. Bit cutting edges in direction of the tool lengthwise axis have arc-shape sections to brake drilling dust transfer.
EFFECT: higher loading capacity, longer life.
