FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to machine building particularly, to deep drilling by BTA or ejector technologies. Drilling head comprises body to spin about axis of rotation and has cutting end and hollow channel with cuttings pit at cutting end whereat insert if arranged and provided with skews on major and minor cutting edges that make the cutter top and leading surface. Said body has guide plates. First guide plate is located in drilling head body hemisphere directed from leading surface while second guide plate is located diametrically opposite the cutter top. First guide plate is located with a shift relative to cutter top through the guide plate locating angle value measures in circumference of drilling head to make less than 70 degrees. Possibility to adjust the guide plate locating angle value allows using said drilling head for various materials with various drilling parameters.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of machining deep holes.
