FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Mould is produced at feeding the mix into mould, compaction of said mix and withdrawal of the mould from pattern. Said mix comprises moulding sand and liquid composition including binder, modifying agent and water. Said binder comprises smectite clay. Modifying agent comprises metal or boron carbonate. Metal carbonate represents carbonates of calcium, magnesium or metal selected from the group consisting of aluminium, calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, boron, zinc, lead, copper and their derivatives.
EFFECT: resistance to thermal destruction at higher temperatures.
