SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the chemical industry. Purification of gas from hydrogen sulphide is carried out in two absorbers. Initial gas (2) is supplied to the first absorber (1), from it partially purified gas (3) is supplied into the second absorber (7), where it contacts with a regenerated absorbent, supplied by a line (8). Saturated with carbon dioxide (10) gas is discharged from the top of the second absorber (7). An absorbent (9) from the bottom of the second absorber (7) is supplied in two flows (4 and 5) having different temperature to different levels into the first absorber (1). Saturated with hydrogen sulphide, the absorbent (31) from the bottom of the first absorber 91) is supplied into a regenerator (11). The regenerated absorbent through an accumulator (15) and a pump (37) is supplied into the second absorber (7) by the line (8).
EFFECT: claimed method makes it possible to increase a degree of purification of discharged gases from hydrogen sulphide with a simultaneous increase of selectivity of hydrogen sulphide extraction in the presence of carbon dioxide.
