FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of an information transmitting device which is mounted inside a tyre and is designed to transmit tyre information, and a tyre condition monitoring system designed to detect deviations from the normal tyre condition. The tyre condition monitoring system comprises a transmitting device, a receiving device and a monitoring unit. The transmitting device includes a sensor which obtains tyre information, a transmitter which wirelessly transmits the obtained tyre information and a housing. The housing has a wall surrounding the sensor and the transmitter, an inner space separated by a wall from the tyre cavity and an air channel passing the housing and linking the inner space of the housing with the tyre cavity. On the surface of the housing facing the tyre cavity there is an outer opening of the air channel whose area is not more than 0.4 mm2. On the surface of the housing facing the inner space there is an inner opening of the air channel whose area is greater than the area of the outer opening. In another version of the transmitting device, a sensor space located at least between the air channel and the sensor is provided in the inner space.

EFFECT: enabling detection of deviations from the normal tyre condition and transmission of tyre information.
