FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to oil producing equipment and may be used to control technical status of pump rods. The invention suggests a pump rod smart monitoring system, which contains the monitoring centre and remote wireless access unit for communication with the above centre, a unit for motion detection and storage of pump rod parameters, a radio frequency reading/writing unit and a radio frequency memory chip. At that the unit for motion detection and storage of pump rod parameters is coupled to the radio frequency memory chip placed at pump rods and the remote wireless access unit. Moreover the radio frequency reading/writing unit and the unit for motion detection and storage of pump rod parameters are designed to read motion parameters and data on pump rod status from the RF memory chip and to store them. Besides, the unit for motion detection and storage of pump rod parameters includes the master microprocessor and elements coupled to it, which form a watching circuit, a signal circuit, flash memory and USB interface circuit. At that the signal circuit is connected additionally to the current transformer while the master microprocessor is coupled to the remote wireless access unit.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of the pump rod operation, reducing number of accidents and maintenance costs.
