FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: packaging, particularly for demonstration in euro-hook or similar device, comprising a packet or a bag (10) closed at one end by a head region (14). The weakened line (18) extends through the head region dividing it into an outer part (14A) and an inner part (14B), both of which are compacted. In the outer part (14B) of the head region a hole is provided for suspending package for demonstration purposes. The outer part (14A) can be separated from the inner part after removal from the demonstration hook by tearing along the weakened line. The sealing seam in the inner part (14B) of the head region is peelable to facilitate opening. Also the method of manufacturing the package and device for its manufacture are disclosed. The device comprises a pair of clamps having a punch to make holes, and at least one guide for a knife.
