FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: clamping device comprises a frame 20, with a through-hole 22, and mandrel 30, capable to rotate in a through-hole 22. Besides, the mandrel 30 has a through-hole 32 with the location end 30b and end 30a from the side of the drive, which is connected with the driving unit, intended for the rotational driving of the mandrel 30. The mandrel 30 has outer thread 34 on external circumferential part. Besides the clamping device for a wheel comprises a clutch 50 with a rotary table 58 for a wheel, which shall be fixed. The clutch 50 has a part 52 with an inner thread in a screwed connection with a part 34 with an outer thread of the mandrel 30. In a clamping device for the wheel a clamping unit 60 for temporary fixation of a fastening element 40 also is provisioned, which is inserted through the location end 30b into a mandrel 30.
