FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: combined cooling tower comprises a body, in the lower part of which there is a water-collecting bath made in accordance with the shape of the body from water-collecting shields, and above the bath there is a device for air intake made in the form of shutter grids arranged along the perimeter of the body. In the upper part of the cooling tower body there is a body of an axial fan installed, made of glass plastic and including a confusor arranged above a drop catcher, coaxially to the body of the cooling tower, and rigidly connected to it, besides, a cylindrical part is coaxially connected with the confusor, inside of which there is a fan impeller installed with a gap, and a diffuser, in which at least three controlled braces are fixed to install the fan with an built-in electric motor. In the middle part of the cooling tower body there is a water-distributing system with collectors of alternating cross section and nozzles fixed on them and spraying water above an irrigation device, fixed in the body by means of stiffening ribs, the system of return water supply has separate hydraulic circuits of water treatment and consumption. In the lower part of the cooling tower body they arrange at least two tanks for water collection, which are connected to each other by a compensation pipe, providing for hydraulic independence of circuits of driving water treatment and its consumption. One tank is connected with a pump, which supplies water cooled in the cooling tower to a consumer, which again arrives via a valve along a pipeline into the second tank, from which the heated water with the pump via a filter and a valve is supplied along the pipeline into a header with nozzles, placed in the upper part of the cooling tower body, and in the section between the filter and the valve they install a system of control of hydraulic resistance of a filter, made of a pressure gauge and a valve, and each of spraying nozzles comprises a body with an auger, coaxially arranged in the lower part of the body, and a nozzle arranged in the upper part of the body with a hole for fluid supply, connected with the diffuser, axisymmetric to the body and the nozzle, besides, the auger is pressed into the body to form a cylindrical chamber arranged above the auger, coaxially to the diffuser, and connected with it in series, besides, the auger is arranged with a central throttling hole, and the external surface of the auger represents at least a helical groove and is arranged inside the body, besides, the outlet of the helical groove is connected with an outlet conical chamber, to the end of which a plate sprayer is fixed.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of using secondary energy resources by increasing value of active area of a cooling tower without increase in aerodynamic resistance.
