FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition for reducing yellowing and a method of producing said composition. The composition consists of a photovoltaic device, having a metallic component, a polyvinyl butyral layer which is in contact with said metallic component and a protective substrate, which is a second substrate which is in contact with said polyvinyl butyral layer. The polyvinyl butyral layer contains 1H-benzotriazole or a 1H-benzotriazole salt.
EFFECT: obtaining a composition which is suitable for stable, long-term use in photovoltaic modules with metallic elements.
