POLYURETHANE DENTRITE COATING Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC C09D175/04

Abstract RU 2516407 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective coating for surfaces, surface, consisting of protective coating, and to method of protective coating formation. In particular, it relates to colourless polymer protective coatings for painted surfaces, which are applied, inter alia, in automobile, ship-building, aircraft and other fields of industry. Composition of protective coating includes first component, which includes dendrite polymer, which has approximately from 32 to 128 peripheral functional groups, peripheral functional group includes cross-linked hydroxyl functional group; one or several materials selected from the group: acryl polyol, with approximately from 2 to 6 peripheral cross-linked hydroxyl functional groups; totality of nanoparticles of metal oxides, which can be encapsulated in polymer, including cross-linked hydroxyl functional group, and/or fluorine surfactant, which includes cross-linked hydroxyl functional group; sterically hindered amine light stabiliser; ultraviolet absorber; cross-linking catalyst; and first almost water-free solvent, in which said materials are dissolved, and in case of nanoparticles are dispersed; as well as the second component, which includes: cross-linking agent, as well as second almost water-free solvent, similar or different from the first almost water-free solvent, with first and second components being mixed, with formation of coating composition.

EFFECT: coating is highly waterproof, resistant to scratches and possesses self-cleaning properties, as well as preserves luster for long period of time.
