FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electric spindle is distinguished for the fact that in the casing cavity there installed are cylindrical bushings coaxially to the stator core cavity, the bushings are made from insulation material, for example, glass fibre plastic, and are coupled by their ends with the ends of the stator core. At least two radial bearings and one thrust magnetic bearing are installed in the end brackets of the electric spindle. Rotor ends are rigidly coupled with the end covers, contacting surfaces of the end shields and cylindrical bushings are fitted by seals. A bearing unit is made so as to be able of magnetic support of the rotor, for this purpose each end cover of the rotor is made from nonmagnetic material and fitted by an annular protrusion turned to the respective end shield made from nonmagnetic material, compound permanent magnets are rigidly fixed one after the other on the inner surface of the annular protrusion. The end shields are equipped by ring-shaped protrusions with at least three annular permanent magnets being rigidly fixed on their outer surface. Additionally, the electric spindle is equipped with an axial magnetic bearing.
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity and stiffness of bearing units, improved efficiency of cooling the winding and core of a stator, improved weight and dimension parameters and increased reliability.
