FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protecting wood and wood materials from biological degradation, e.g. by fungi. The invention can be used in the wood processing industry, in construction and other industries using wood and wood materials. The organosoluble fungicidal composition includes a mixture of boric acid esters, which are reaction products of a light fraction of high-boiling by-products of synthesis of 4,4-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane with boric acid as a fungicide, and further contains chlorinated paraffin and a solvent, e.g. acetone, xylene etc.
EFFECT: disclosed organosoluble fungicidal composition is water-resistant, has improved operational properties, high fungicidal activity with respect to moulds and wood-staining fungi.
