FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orbital friction welding. Drum 14 is retained in frame 44 with the help of division table 54. Said frame 44 can turn and displace vertically to locate different section of its outer surface parallel with the plane of orbital motion of blade 18, 20, 22. Blade re retained in orbital motion device 62 by clamp 68. Inner surface of drum 14 is secured by supports 51 resting on core 52 secured to frame 44. Drum 14 comprises set of ledges 38 with cross-section identical to blade shape. Ledges 38 form coupling surfaces for blades 18, 20, 22. Blade 18, 20, 22 comprises plate to allow its reliable clamping in clamp 68.
EFFECT: lower costs of drum production.
