FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular, for construction of nuclear power plant. An NPP containment from pre-stressed reinforced concrete includes a bottom, cylindrical walls and a sloping dome of positive Gaussian curvature, which have metal internal sheets of a containment area made from high-strength steel and cut into assembly blocks. Metal sheets of the containment area are made with thickness of 10-20 mm and have at two sides of the sheet meridional and circular ribs, bending strength of which is 5-20 times higher than that of the sheet, the assembly unit has at both sides of the sheet the contour meridional and circular ribs, bending strength of which is 20-100 times higher than in the sheet, along the contour the sheets of the assembly unit have meridional and circular contour ribs, which are displaced from edges of sheets to the distance, for convenience and reliability of welding, with provision of equal strength and stiffness, in contour ribs there are seats, where high-strength bolts (pins) are embedded, designed for pressing of welded sheets in a gap between contour ribs, to contour ribs strips are welded from high-strength steel, which close seats for bolts.

EFFECT: higher bending strength of EI in arrangement of meridional, circular intermediate and contour double-sided ribs, reduced metal intensity, weight, labour intensiveness, timing of erection, cost of construction, and also increased quality of construction of NPP containments, increased reliability and durability.
