FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aroma inhalator of non-heating type which contains the following elements: hollow holder having an axis, the holder containing a front end, a back end functioning as a mouthpiece end, an atmosphere air inflow hole and a flow channel limited in the holder and designed with the possibility to direct atmosphere air admitted from the atmosphere air inflow hole to the mouthpiece end; and an aromatic cartridge having air permeability and placed in the holder to continue inside the holder from the front end to the mouthpiece end along the holder axis. The aromatic cartridge divides the flow channel into an outlet area, continuing from the aromatic cartridge to the mouthpiece end, and an inlet area, communicating with the atmosphere air inflow hole and placed adjacent to the aromatic cartridge. The aromatic cartridge contains a frame, granulated aroma-releasing material loaded into the frame and able to release an aromatic component without inflammation. The aroma-releasing material contains granulated tobacco, produced by way of tobacco leaves shredding or milling, and a compressing device designed for keeping the aroma-releasing material in a compressed condition ensuring the aromatic cartridge air permeability.
