SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filter for a cigarette article and a cigarette article. Filter for a cigarette article includes a filter material on the side of the mouth end, which is located on the side of the mouth end; and a filter material of the front portion that is in the front portion of the filter material on the side of the mouth end and filters the mainstream smoke; filter material on the mouth end has an element with low airflow resistance that is located at a portion of the cross section from the surface of the front end to the surface of the rear end and has relatively low resistance to air flow, and an element with high airflow resistance that is located in the rest of the cross section from the surface of the front end to the surface of the rear end and has higher resistance to air flow than the element with low resistance to air flow; and at least on the surface of the rear end of the filter material on the side of the mouth end, the element with low airflow resistance is located in only one semicircular region of two parts, to which the cross section of the filter material on the side of the mouth end is divided by a boundary line passing through the central axis of the cross section; ratio of the distance of the part of the element with low resistance to air flow closest to the boundary line from the boundary line to the filter diameter is equal to or higher than 1.4 % and lower than 100 %; or the ratio of the distance of the part of the element with the lowest resistance to the air flow most remote from the boundary line, from the boundary line to the filter diameter is equal to or higher than 29.2 % and lower than 100 %.

EFFECT: manufacture of a filter for a cigarette article and a method related to a cigarette article which reversibly modifies inhalable taste-aromatic sensation in an arbitrary time mode.
