FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shuttle space systems, particularly, to longitudinal-configuration space system of horizontal takeoff. Proposed system comprises first stage and second stage with wings, air breathers being arranged at first stage. Said first and second stages are arranged one after another. Airframe of second stage is arranged in first stage midship. Wing at first or both stages features variable sweep. Tail plane can be arranged at first and second stages. Note here that second stage tail plane operates as canard configuration when centre of gravity is located behind it and as tail plane configuration when it is located ahead it at position with optimum angle of attack when centre of gravity is aligned therewith. All tail plane and wings feature positive angle of attack to develop lift.

EFFECT: aerodynamic control of the entire system at takeoff, separate control at landing, increased payload.
