FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turbomachine compressor impeller comprises a disk with blades set one after another on its circumference and the platforms of adjacent blades can interact directly. At least one damping element is installed under the platforms of adjacent blades and can interact with them. The blade tails are fixed in an annular groove provided in the disk. The damping element is made as a cylinder limited from above by a flat plate with two support lugs on it and from beneath - by a circular shell with a chamfer. The element is installed so that it can contact with the platforms of each of the adjacent blades via the support lugs and so that the surfaces of the circular shell can contact with the side surface and/or bottom of the annular groove. The cuts parallel and/or perpendicular to the support lugs are made on the flat plate sides to fix the damping element in the annular groove and between the blade tails.
EFFECT: decreased weight of a damper in an impeller, improved efficiency of turbomachine operation, possibility to adjust damper for certain range of unwanted vibrations and increase service life of blades due to their efficient damping.
