FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: sowing machine comprises a seed dispensing system connected with the system of sowing seeds. The system of sowing seeds comprises a housing having right and left opposing walls spaced apart in the transverse direction and a side wall extending between them. The side wall has an upper opening for receiving seeds from the corresponding dispensing system and a lower opening through which the seeds are discharged, and an inner surface extending between the upper and lower openings. Inside the housing there is an endless element with a gripping part located around the first drive pulley and the second idler pulley. The gripping part interacts with the inner wall surface of the housing and moves along it while moving the endless element from the upper opening, where the seeds from the seed dispenser are gripped by the gripping part and retained by the gripping part and the housing wall, to the lower opening for moving the seeds to the lower opening and discharge from it. The side wall of the housing additionally comprises a first segment extending between the upper and lower openings in the direction of motion of the endless element, and a second segment extending between the lower and upper openings in the direction of motion of the endless element, and the sensor of seeds. The latter is mounted on the first segment of the housing side wall along which the seeds are moved from the upper opening to the lower opening to determine the passage of seeds through the housing and providing an output signal in response to it.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the accuracy of determining the distance between the seeds sown.
