SUBSTANCE: device contains a ring-shaped magnetic circuit enveloping conductors of the network and current relay. Meanwhile the ring-shaped magnetic circuit has a transversal air gap with perpendicular tangential through-hole and radial non-through-hole, the rotational axis of which passes through a middle of this gap, and the current relay comprises a hermetic contact and permanent magnet in tangential through and radial non-through holes respectively, while the permanent magnet can turn around of the radial hole axis, and the leads of the hermetic contact are connected to disconnecting circuit of the cut-out switch or alarm system.

EFFECT: improvement of sensitivity and reliability of the protection device operation.
