FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a housing, which is designed with a possibility of its mounting on a wire. Also it is provisioned with transportation means and ice removal devices. The transportation mean is designed as the container, filled with calcium carbide with a possibility of ensuring its contact with the humidified ice on a wire. To create the device moving force the jet force zero occurring from inflaming of acetylene, formed during chemical reaction as a result of interaction of calcium carbide with water. When ice is removed from a wire, heat is used, which is released as a result of chemical reaction and acetylene burning. For ice humidifying in front of the chamber with calcium carbide the chamber with chemical reagent is placed which decreases the temperature of ice melting, and for acetylene inflaming in the combustor placed inside a housing, the firing device is installed. Behind the combustor on bearings the turbine driving wheel with a mill is installed, and the mill spin axis is shifted, i.e. has an eccentricity, with reference to the turbine wheel axis.
EFFECT: increase of the device operation productivity and improvement of quality of ice removal.
