SUBSTANCE: device for header automatic field contour comprises feeler elements, spring-lever table balance, power hydraulic cylinders of the header position control, hydraulic slide-valve with housing, shaft and ball joint, which are combined into one circuit of autonomous hydraulic system with hydraulic pump. The hydraulic slide-valve is mounted on the upper bar of the header. At the ball joint the double-arm lever is secured with one end in the form of a boomerang, so that its free end interacts with the rollers that are mounted on the feed elevator in rotation of the double-arm lever around the pin axis, which is welded to the upper bar of the header. On the sides of the feed elevator with one end and with the other - on the upper bar of the header the hydraulic shock absorbers are hingedly mounted.
