SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generation of steam from steam generator working medium, and the steam generator is preferably made as a steam generator on waste heat. Method is proposed to convert steam generator working medium into steam, in which in a heat exchanger for working medium conversion into steam thermal energy from coolant is given to working medium, besides, coolant temperature in a thermal generator increases, before coolant is supplied into the heat exchanger, and thermal energy is supplied to the thermal generator with the help of additional coolant, besides, temperature of additional coolant in an industrial plant generating residual or waste heat using residual or waste heat or in a geothermal plant increases, before the additional coolant arrives to the thermal generator, at the same time temperature of additional coolant supplied to the thermal generator is lower than the temperature of coolant sent to the steam generator heat exchanger.
EFFECT: method will make it possible to achieve higher efficiency factor of steam generation.
