SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds of formula (I) and (II), a method for production thereof, metal-containing catalyst systems based on said compounds and a method for hydrocyanation in the presence of said catalyst systems. Compounds of formulae (I) and (II): where R₁, R₂, R₃, R₄, R₆ and R₇ denote H, C₁-C₁₂alkyl, an aromatic or cycloaliphatic ring, a carbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl or alkoxy radical, a halogen atom, a nitrile or haloalkyl group containing 1-12 carbon atoms, R₅ and R₈ denote an aliphatic radical containing 1-12 carbon atoms, an aromatic or cycloaliphatic ring, or multiple aromatic rings which are condensed or bonded with each other.
