FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: the method includes usage of downhole disconnecting device consisting of the upper and lower parts of inserted into each other hermetically and fixed by locking members. At that the locking members are made as shear or elastic ring elements. Sealing is ensured by sealing elements. Disengagement of electric or hydraulic lines is made by a knife placed in one part of the downhole disconnecting device. The electric or hydraulic line is fixed by a clamp at the lower or upper parts of the disconnecting device. In the lower part there is a groove for placement of an electric or hydraulic line ended with a protrusion where disengagement takes place with maintenance of their fixing to the equipment and preventing accident and dangerous complications when a gland is formed of free hanging electric and hydraulic lines at the equipment lifting; or the protrusion is placed in the upper part of the disconnecting device.
