FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a table for the removal of air, an upper pressing plate and a heating unit. The air removal table is equipped by a notch for the location of glass plates being sealed. The upper pressing plate is pressed to the sealed glass plates in the notch and is air-tightly connected to the air removal table along the notch perimeter. The air removal table and/or the upper pressing plate are equipped by the holes for air removal. The heating unit provides for heating of the sealed parts on the glass plates being sealed.

EFFECT: simplified design of the device for vacuum glass sealing, improved sealing efficiency.
