FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction of pipelines. In the method of the first embodiment, the protective sleeve is positioned coaxially inside the connecting pipes. After welding the joint, the end annular gaps between the protective sleeve and the connected pipes are sealed to form an annular cavity between the outer surface of the sleeve, the inner surface of the welded joint and the adjacent pipe surfaces. Annulus is pumped out of the air and filled with a compound. Sealing of the end annular gaps is effected by inserting into the connected pipes a device comprising a power drive including a cylindrical elastic working member, and a jacket of elastic anti-adhesive material coaxially located on the surface of the working member. Inside the working organ, excess pressure is created with radial expansion of the working member and pressing the jacket against the protective sleeve and the surfaces of the connected pipes on both sides of the protective sleeve. After completion of the polymerization process, the compound is reduced by the pressure inside the working member with the jacket disconnected from the protective sleeve and the internal surfaces of the connected pipes and the sealing device is removed from the pipeline. In the method of the second embodiment, the protective sleeve is not used. Annular cavity is formed around the inner surface of the welded joint and the adjacent surfaces of the connected pipes. Middle part of the jacket coaxially located on the surface of the working member is reinforced with an elastic cord and forms the said annular cavity. Sealing of the annular cavity is carried out by creating an excess pressure inside the working member with radial expansion of the elastic working member and pressing the unreinforced parts of the jacket against the surfaces of the connected pipes on both sides of the middle reinforced portion. After completion of the polymerization process, the compound is reduced by the pressure inside the working member with the jacket disconnected from the polymerized compound and the internal surfaces of the connected pipes and the sealing device is removed from the pipeline.
EFFECT: group of inventions can be used for internal insulation of a welded joint of pipes with an internal protective coating.
