FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism comprises a base, a terminal member, a translational motion engine set vertically on the base, a vertically set bar installed so that it can be moved by the translational motion engine, an intermediate member connected to the bar, three engines coupled with the intermediate member, each of the three engines is coupled to the terminal member by an intermediate rotating pair with a vertical axis and by a terminal spherical pair. The three engines coupled with the intermediate member are made as translational motion engines installed horizontally on the intermediate member. The vertically set bar is coupled with the intermediate member by a hinge with horizontal axis. The mechanism is equipped by an additional translational motion engine set vertically on the base and an additional member set vertically and connected with the intermediate member by two additional hinges with horizontal axes being parallel to the axis of the hinge that couples the vertically set bar and the intermediate member.
EFFECT: increased technical and operational efficiency of devices for manipulations in space based on the replacement of rotary engines by translational motion ones.
