SUBSTANCE: invention relates to farm industry, namely, to feeding of farm animals, in particular, newly calved highly productive cows. The invention may be used during preparation of feedstuffs in feedstuff industry or immediately at farms by way of mixing with a grain mixture. The energy protein fodder additive for highly productive cows consists of carbamide, a premix, wheat or rye bran, glacial acetic acid and greased decalite. All the components are taken at the specified ratio.

EFFECT: invention implementation ensures performance enhancement due to optimisation of energy, protein and mineral exchange in newly calved highly productive cows ration due to maximum usage of chemical synthesis products and processing industry wastes, it promotes milk fatness increase without animal live weight losses and prevents ketosis and acidosis development.
