SUBSTANCE: harpoon point comprises a body connected coaxially to the hitting part of the point made in the form of a cone or many-sided pyramid with a base matching the body. In the rear part of the body there is a coaxial threaded channel matching the harpoon stem. The hitting part of the point is provided with a knife-like blade with double-edged sharpening. The adjacent faces of sharpening of knives of the blade are made at an angle to the central plane of the blade and parallel to each other in cross-section on opposite sides of the blade. The edge of the point is made at an angle to the central plane of the blade and is formed adjacent at an acute angle by the opposite faces of the sharpening of the blades. The blade surface is an Archimedean screw surface with the direction of the angle of attack associated with the direction of the thread in the body channel.

EFFECT: invention enables to increase the efficiency of use of the harpoon energy and provides improvement of grouping of shots.
