FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to containers for storing dry powders, granules, pellets, gases and other combustible materials. The container comprises a wall formed of a spirally twisted profile which has an open cross-section and the adjacent windings which are attached to each other. According to the invention, the profile comprises a first thermoplastic layer forming the inner surface of the profile and a second thermoplastic layer forming the outer surface of the profile, and the said second layer is antistatic. The container according to the present invention has good mechanical strength and enables to prevent effectively the accumulation of electrical charges in the container. In addition, the container may be used as a drier for materials, powders and/or pellets.
EFFECT: creation of container of a new type, which enables to prevent effectively the accumulation of electrical charges in the container.
