FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of thermoplastic barrels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of wide-neck thermoplastic barrels which can be grounded. According to proposed method of manufacture of wide-neck thermoplastic barrels with detachable cover and clamping ring lock, one- or-multiply plastic hose is extruded into blow mould, out of which barrel body is blown out. Barrel body with bottom, with foot ring or without such ring, and flange on barrel body for mounting cover with clamping ring lock is made by blow molding. Flange is formed at height of edge or at a distance lower than edge of hole of wide-neck barrel on barrel body. Barrel is made with solid cover of grooved cover and with intermediate ring between flange and cover or edge of barrel hole and cover. Jet of air for finishing blowing of closed blank to form barrel body with solid cover is supplied at least through one insert injection rod driven into intermediate ring. Jet of air for finishing blowing of closed blank to form barrel body with grooved cover is delivered through groove hole of at least one groove of grooved cover by injection rod and/or at least one injection rod 14 driven into intermediate ring. After cooling of barrel body in blow mould and taking out barrel body from mould, barrel body and cover are separated from each other by cutting intermediate ring out of barrel body and, after fitting ring seal into sealing recess of cover, it is secured by clamping ring on barrel body.
EFFECT: provision of wide-neck barrels hermetically closed by covers and provided with antistatic outer layer.
