FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: window system with horizontal locking, comprising the following components, is described: latching window, attached to the window frame; linear guide designed in the bottom of the window frame; and floating window, that moves back and forth along the linear guide in the first direction and provided with window glass; besides the floating window moves in the second direction perpendicular to the window glass, for sealing contact with the window frame. According to the present invention, window of sliding type can be introduced into the airtight contact with the window frame under the action on knob.

EFFECT: good air tightness, resistance to water and wind pressure.
