FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a turning fitting of a hair styling device, in particular, one intended for formation of locks and waves, the fitting containing at least two elongated-shaped projections intended for winding hair being styled; the projections determine the strand-guiding channel running between them and have rounded surfaced adhering to hair. According to the invention, the turning fitting contains elements that move relative to the projections and form at least part of the strand-guiding channel and/or cylindrical surface of the external shell and are designed so that, with hair strands in, locks can be shaped independent of the fitting rotation direction without hair jams.
EFFECT: eventual simplification of the hair styling device usage.
