FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: when damping oscillations in vane of turbine machine, oscillation energy of the vane at first is converted into electric energy at the expense of piezoelectric effect, and then the electric energy is converted to the heat of losses. Inside the vane, to be damped, a hollow space is formed for installing of piezoelectric damping element. Into the hollow space of the vane the piezoelectric damping element designed with a possibility of deformation at the expense of oscillations of the vane and creation of electric voltage is installed. The damping element is rigidly fixed to the vane at the expense of connection of material or mechanical clamping. With the help of the created electric voltage in the connected electric network an ohmic heat of losses is created. Another invention of the group relates to the vane of the turbine machine, in which for implementation of the mentioned above method inside the vane a hollow space is formed and, at least, one piezoelectric damping element is located in the named hollow space.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to simplify damping of oscillations of the turbine machine vane.
