FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing and recycling of iron-bearing slime waste including higher concentrations of heavy metals (zinc, lead, etc.) with application of high-intensity cavity effects to get commercially efficient products. Proposed method comprises treatment of slime pulp in acoustic field. Treatment is performed in ultrasound field using the 800 W output piezo ceramic generator at bulk density of power varying from 180 J/cm3 to 200 J/cm3, suspension hydrostatic pressure over 1.0 atm and temperature above 25°C.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of processing.
