FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to integrated use of raw materials in ferrous metallurgy, in particular to processing of blast-furnace slurries containing iron, zinc, sulfur and accompanying metal oxides, and can be used for extraction of blast-furnace gas cleaning slurries harmful for ferrous metallurgy chemical compounds of zinc, which prevents iron-containing material from being involved in metallurgical processing. For de-zincing of blast-furnace slurries one performs preliminary mixing with iron ore in ratio 1:1. Crushing is performed to fractions from 0.041 mm to 0.071 mm, after which magnetic separation is carried out in magnetic field with intensity of 88–110 kA/m.

EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of de-zincing of blast-furnace gas cleaning slurries due to reduction of mass fraction of zinc in magnetic fraction at maximum output of magnetic fraction.
