SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of maintenance and repair of complex technical facilities, including the systems of arms and military equipment. The method of repair of complex technical facilities in their locations is based on the use of the central computer and portable remote access terminals, located on the complex technical facilities (RAT) with arranging of the local area network (LAN). The operating personnel of the complex technical facility determines using the identification data reader the identification data of the component, where an abnormal situation occurred, and passes these data to the operator automated workstation (OAWS). The duty operator of OAWS sends these data to the automated workstation of the duty adviser (AAWS) to the duty adviser, who establishes two-way communication with operating personnel and instructs on orienting the video monitoring unit for observing the activities of operating personnel. Operating personnel using the information on the monitor screen obtained from AAWS, and using two-way communication and video monitoring with AWS recovers the component operability.

EFFECT: invention improves efficiency and quality of repair.
