FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building industry. A pneumatic spring includes container (1), stock (4) with piston (6) and sealing element (5) of the stock. Piston (6) forms above-piston (7) and below-piston (8) cavities in container (1), which are connected via through channel (11). Piston (6) is provided on its side surface with a set of annular grooves with sealing rings (9) and two internal annular grooves (12, 13). One internal annular groove (12) is interconnected with above-piston cavity (7) by means of two opposite check valves (20, 21). The other internal annular groove (13) is connected to the below-piston cavity (8) by means of two other opposite check valves (22, 23). Both internal annular grooves (12, 13) are interconnected via channels at least with one of its annular groove (15, 18) on side surface of piston (6). In each of such grooves there is elastic piston ring (16, 19) and an expander in the form of a gaseous phase.
EFFECT: achieving reduction of probability of breaks-through at impact loads due to abrupt increase of forces of resistance to movement of the piston on ends of both strokes acting near breakthrough zones.
