FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to rotorcraft rotors bosses. Rotor boss (20) of rotorcraft with fuselage, rotor mast (21) and rotor shaft (22) extending above said fuselage. Rotor multiple blades (23-26) extend radially from said mast (21) or rotor shaft (22). Means (2) serve to secured said blades (23-26) to said mast (21) or shaft (22) to allow blades flapping, pitching and advance/lag motions of said blades (23-26). Streamlined cowl (3) of said boss covers rotor mast (21) or rotor shaft (22) and fasteners (2) of the blades. Said cowl shaped the chamber of said rotor mast (21) or rotor shaft (22) and has peripheral cut-outs for every blade (23-26) provided with skirts (8-11). Every blade is surrounded by collar (6) to allow contactless labyrinth seal with said skirt (8-11). Method of production and assembly of rotor boss (20) components comprises fabrication of cowl (3), top and bottom inner skirts (9, 11), cover (4), collars (6), ribs (7), top and bottom outer skirts (8, 10), ledges of cowl (12) and cowl (13).
EFFECT: lower drag of screw boss.
