FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: valve mechanism includes a body with a valve located in it, a stock, a spring, a plug, a screw and a sealing ring. The sealing ring is arranged between the body and a gas bottle, and the spring is arranged between the valve and the plug. The stock and the valve are separated from each other; besides, the stock contacts the valve and is a locking element of a flow passage between the valve and the stock for movement of gas from an inner cavity between the valve and the plug after stroke of a gun hammer against the stock. After the stroke against the stock, pressure in the inner cavity is lower than pressure in the gas bottle.
EFFECT: achieving reduction of striking energy against the stock; reducing the weight of impact weight and force of cocking, as well as reducing cocking arm length.
