SUBSTANCE: siphon is designed for connection to the sink (24), in particular a kitchen sink or washbasin, and comprises a reservoir (2) for liquid, at least one connectable to the sink (24), an inlet (3) and at least one draining hole (4) connectable with a drain pipe. And the reservoir (2) is made with the ability to be opened for access to the entire pipe mounted in the reservoir (2), which continues the inlet (3) and consisting of at least two half-pipes. Opening the reservoir (2) is feasible by a removable cover (10). And the first half-pipe is moulded on the side of the cover (10) facing the reservoir (2), and together with the second half-pipe (16) moulded in the reservoir (2) forms a complete pipe connecting with the inlet (3). A piece of furniture comprises a housing (30) with a sink (24) mounted on it or in it. And on the housing (30) the above described siphon (1) is mounted, connectable to the sink (24).
