SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plant production, namely, to means for protection and treatment of damaged fruit and ornamental trees. The method of production of tree-wound paint consists in mixing the molten components in the following percentage: technical paraffin or beeswax 12-46%, pine pitch 86-34%, household solid soap with fatty acid content not more than 72% 2-20%.

EFFECT: method enables to obtain tree-wound paint, which has good adhesiveness to dry tissues of plants, high ductility, and use as antiseptic means of pine pitch provides active scarring of plant tissues when cutting, grafting, sun burns and mechanical damage.
