FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the supply of carbon oxide in the form of CO under the anode base through the channels, made in the anode, at the pressure 1.1-1.2 bar with the flow rate about 1000-1050 m3 CO per ton of aluminium, and CO is obtained from waste gases, formed by electrolysis, after their cleaning, fluorisation and washing from CO2.
EFFECT: decrease of carbon consumption, decrease of cost of the process and improvement of environment performance.
