FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to non-ferrous metallurgy, particularly to electrolytic production of aluminium. From under a sole of the anode gas enters a gas flue channel formed with side surface of the anode and a gas collector made with straight and angular hinged sections in form of chambers. Also dust is settled in the angular sections of increased dimensions. Coal foam is burned out in a bath of the electrolytic cell due to supply of compressed air in surface of electrolyte simultaneously or successively via orifices and hatches. Notably, orifices are made in an alumina-cryolite crust on a lengthwise side of the anode used for bath maintenance, while hatches are made for maintenance of the gas collector; they are arranged on the angular sections of the gas collector at amount of 65÷160 m3/t Al. Under influence of vacuum created in a gas-suction circuit with a vacuum source, anode gases enter landing branches for burners.
EFFECT: facilitating decrease of coal foam 1,9 times and consumption of fluoride salts 1,6 times, also facilitating decrease of bath frequency opening by degree and duration of bath opening 2 times.
