SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the cosmetic industry and represents a phytomineral complex used in face packs and face and body creams, containing an ultrafine powder of medicinal plants and mineral components; the powder is dispersed in a jet-type mill in the environment to retain thermolabile biologically active substances, wherein the medicinal plants of the ultrafine powder are presented by the plants possessing anti-inflammatory properties and being matrix metalloproteinase 1 and 2 (MMP-1 and MMP-2) inhibitors specified in common licorice, green tea, soybean, red-rooted gromwell root, cucumber seeds and hop blossom; the above mineral components are zeolite, or white clay, or bentonite clay, or kaolin clay with the ultrafine particle size range of the phytomineral complex making 1 to 20 mcm, while the relation of the medicinal plants and mineral components makes 1:2 to 3:1.

EFFECT: invention provides the non-specific activation of epidermal macrophages and the recovery of the bound water content in skin collagen and polysaccharides of the intercellular matrix, as well as the decreased activity of MMP-9 below the standard.
