FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural industry, in particular to devices for drying grain. The device for drying grain comprises a casing of rectangular cross section, which surface is covered with a layer of heat insulating material, a loading hopper, an unloading window, a cooling device consisting of a fan and an air duct. Inside the casing the conveying working body and the horizontal plate are mounted. From the lower side of the horizontal plate between the loading hopper and the unloading window the heating elements are placed. The conveying working body is made in the form of an endless flexible perforated tape. The length and width of the tape holes are equal to the maximum grain size, the tape thickness is equal to the maximum thickness of the grains. The width of the loading hopper and the width of the unloading window are equal to the width of the conveying working body. The length of the horizontal plate is limited by the outer edge of the loading hopper and the inner edge of the unloading window. The air duct of the cooling device is made bifurcated. Its one part is connected to the casing at equal distance from the loading hopper and the unloading window and is provided with a heating element, and the second part of the air duct is connected to the casing above the unloading window. In addition, both sides of the air duct are provided with dampers.
EFFECT: use of this device enables to improve the quality of grain drying.
