SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication engineering and can be used in systems with noise suppression functions. The proposed method involves an assessment of the noise signal power within the received signal, as well as the power of an additional signal of an assessment error. If the assessed power of the additional signal is less than the one of the noise signal, then the noise from the received signal is suppressed.
EFFECT: increase of the noise suppression efficiency due to the selection of what restored paths of the multipath user signal should be suppressed.
