FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method is carried out owing to the inclusion of a serial beat spectrum analyser in a given interval, a range autotracking unit , turned additional receiving antenna, a second receiver, a second beat voltage amplifier, a second pulse selector and a direction-finding unit. A transmitting antenna is rigidly connected to the turned additional receiving antenna, having an output connected to the first input of the second receiver, the second input of which is connected to the output of a high frequency generator, and the output is connected through the second beat voltage amplifier, through the second amplitude selector to the first input of the direction-finding unit, having a group of outputs connected to a first group of inputs of a secondary processing unit, a second group of inputs connected through the range autotracking unit to a group of outputs of a beat frequency determining unit, the input of which is connected through the serial beat spectrum analyser in a given range to the second input of the direction-finding unit and the output of the first amplitude selector.

EFFECT: radar set enables to monitor objects without using complex and cumbersome units while enlarging the field of view.
